Delivery of the McLaren 675LT at Topaz Detailing [Road to 675LT Episode 08]

We're nearly there! Prior to the McLaren 675LT being taken to McLaren Manchester for Pre-Delivery Inspection and preparation, the car took a stop at Topaz Detailing in London to undergo the full detailing and paint protection film processes as I had previously done with my 650S Spider.

Starting us off with the arrival of the car and the first time I see it out in natural light, showing off the MSO Cerulean Blue paintwork, it then heads into the Topaz workshop for a pre-clean before detailing can get under way.

As you would expect with a bespoke paint finish from MSO, the quality is exceptionally high, vastly in excess of what you would normally expect from a manufacturer factory however there is always room for improvement! As an art that comes down to man hours and the right skills, detailing can always perfect paint finishes in a way that a machine or factory could never truly recreate.

Following many requests, I will also be showing you both the detailing and PPF processes in the Topaz workshop; something I truly recommend on cars of this calibre where keeping it looking exceptional long term is very important.
