Epic McLaren Day - Driving P1, Convoy to Jebel Jais in the UAE

What can only be described as a truly epic day, joining the McLaren Club UAE at Dubai's Motor City for the National Day Drive to Ras al Khaimah and the awesome Jebel Jais mountain road.

I get under way driving in an Aurora Blue McLaren 650S Spider, generously provided by Al Habtoor Motors McLaren in Dubai, along with the two P1s and around 20 other McLarens in the convoy.

Upon reaching the mountain, my co-driver Seb jumps onboard the McLaren P1 armed with my camera for some epic shots in the hypercar. Then it's back down as a group to a late-lunch stop at the Waldorf Astoria in Ras Al Khaimah.

Just as we prepared to depart back to Dubai, the owner of the P1 very kindly invited me to jump at the wheel and have an opportunity to drive it home - WHAT A DAY!
