Build It Online: The Mustang Customizer - Ford Mustang Countdown

From the earliest days of the Ford Mustang in 1964, making the pony car their own was an important part of the experience for customers. A vast array of colors, wheels, engines and other options made it possible for almost anyone to create a completely unique car.

Today, customers can build virtual versions of their dream pony using the Mustang Customizer. From June 2012 to June 2013, there were more than 4.5 million visits to the Customizer site and more than 2.5 million build starts. More than 22% of all the visits came from outside the United States, mostly from countries where you can't even buy a Mustang.
